Garments made from Thermal Pro will bear many of the hallmarks of your favourite fleece but at a much lighter carry weight, making these more practical when packing for long range expeditions.

Lancashire born, the company produced its first patented rainproof finish in 1894. After more than a century of refinement, research and redevelopment, British Millerain’s TekWax cotton comes to ThruDark. The reason waxed cotton works so well as a waterproof barrier is that its hollow fibres are able to be filled up with, and hold onto, wax, rendering the fibres watertight. However, its ultra-dry finish sets British Millerain’s TekWax cotton apart.
